This is Dr. Jean Sheldon’s Sabbath School class at Pacific Union College. In this lecture, Dr. Sheldon considers the subject of killing and violence that is attributed to God in the Old Testament. An incorrect understanding of these stories can lead people to engage in violent activities while quoting the Bible in support. In addition, this is one of the most important subjects as it relates to God’s character.
