Revelation and Human Reality

Brad and Dorothee Cole began a Bible study with a focus on God's character in 2003. The Bible study has steadily grown and the weekly discussions are currently being recorded and can be found here>>

From 2005-2009, we were part of HeavenlySanctuary.com and helped coordinate the Good News Tour conferences. During that time, Dorothee edited the book "God is Love" by G.E. Fifield. We're currently editing a multi-authored book about God's character together with Cherie Clough.

We both work as neurologists at a VA hospital and live in Redlands, CA. Dorothee has a special interest in movement disorders; Brad in neuromuscular disease and neurology education. Spending time with our three awesome kids, Christina (17), Caleb (10), and James (8) is our favorite pastime.

Sigve Tonstad is a pastor and internal medicine physician with a special interest in diabetes. After completing his B.A. in theology at Middle East College and Andrews University and in Biblical Studies at Loma Linda University (LLU), he received a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies at the University of St. Andrews where his supervisors were Bruce Longenecker and Richard Bauckham. After 15 years as a pastor in Norway, Sigve returned to LLU to serve in the religion and internal medicine departments. His doctrinal dissertation, Saving God's Reputation, was published in 2006 by T. & T. Clark. In 2009, Andrews University Press published his book The Lost Meaning of the Seventh Day.

Sigve's wife, Serena Tonstad, is also a physician at LLU with special interest in preventive medicine. They have two daughters. Linn teaches theology and Kristel is currently serving in Haiti under the auspices of UNICEF.
