John Milton: The English Revelation

In Cosmic Conflict by cwfeldmann

Sigve Tonstad’s trip through the book of Revelation took more than 2 years and a total of 63 lessons. Since this class emphasized ‘cosmic conflict theology’ as a key to understanding the book of Revelation, we are now exploring other aspects of this motif.

This lecture was given by Melissa Brotton, who is a professor of English at La Sierra University and has been attending our class on Revelation all along. Her expertise is John Milton, one of the most influential ‘cosmic conflict’ voices of all time. Next week, Sigve will return for a discussion on cosmic conflict in the early Christian church. Melissa will then return for a part 2 lecture on John Milton and Paradise Lost.
