We are conditioned from childhood to believe certain things about the judgment: We are on trial standing guilty before God the Father who is the judge. The only good news about the judgment is that Jesus is our Advocate and Friend in court. The description of judgment in Daniel and especially in the Gospel of John paints quite a different picture, however. Can the various images of judgment in the bible be reconciled?
