Maranatha Family Centre

This is an African orphanage in the Kissi highlands of Kenya. Currently 50 orphans are being cared for at Maranatha Family Centre (MFC), a society which is registered with the Kenyan government and authorized to care for orphans. They could use your support!

We have had a very good experience with these people and have found them to be trustworthy and responsible.

It seems that "religion" isn't what Jesus hoped to create. Have we missed the central mission of Jesus' life and death?

Sabbath School on the Move

Jonathan Gallagher has led a Sabbath School class for many years. We appreciate his focus on God's character, freedom and cosmic conflict theology. Jonathan has also been working on a new translation of the Bible from the Greek called the "Free Bible Translation." This is a worthwhile project. Stop Podo

Podoconiosis, also known as "mossy foot" is a preventable diseases that affects over 4 million people in underpriviliged countries. From the Tropical Health Alliance Foundation Website: "Podo is truly a disease of the voiceless – it only affects people in rural communities who are too poor to afford shoes. It is also neglected because it is a tropical disease that visitors to the tropics will never develop."

This is such a preventable condition! "If everyone living on irritant soil had access to shoes, podoconiosis could be a thing of the past in only 20 years."
